Yes, I figured. But when I looked around I didn't see anything. I guess I'm just being dumb. In my defense, I haven't had extended periods of time to play the game the last few nights. But I'll probably play it for a good few hours today.

So I just beat the game last night. I'll just spoiler this whole post so I don't have to worry about spoilers.
I found all 100 babies, which was pretty easy to do. Didn't really have to try very hard. I'm missing two hearts, and only have one piece of heart currently, so I guess I'm missing 7 pieces total. I know one of them is the foot race, and two of them are the rupee games, so there's another heart piece right there. That just leaves four pieces to find. Not sure if I'm gonna do it yet or not tho.

After finding out that Lorule version of Zelda (forgot her name) had some bad intentions against Hyrule, I wasn't surprised. I was kinda waiting for it. But it never occurred to me that Ravio was gonna turn out to be some one important. Such as the Lorule version of Link. So that was a nice surprise.

The last boss fight was fun, no complaints there. I liked using the golden arrows as a painting.

Overall, I LOVED this game. I think it feels a little short. I haven't played through LttP in a while, so I don't remember how long that takes to play through.

The dungeons in LttP are larger than in ALBW, so I'd say LttP is a longer game. But you summed up my thoughts nicely.

I think that's just the way it goes with the handheld games. They make the dungeons smaller, and add a halfway warp point so you can go outside and save. It's a handheld, so you have to consider that you might be on the go and need to suddenly stop playing. This was the theory I came up with when I played Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon. Dark Moon is broken up into levels, where as the original game was more open ended. So I think they do this sort of thing on purpose, shorter dungeons and whatnot.

Anyways, 3DS just got Miiverse. So naturally I was checking out some LBW posts and found out that...
There's a super lamp and super net. I'll have to find those!
I never take my 3DS outside the house (only did once or twice since I got it) so I never get SpotPass. An update made it so you can occasionally get a SpotPass if you're connected to WiFi, even without passing by another 3DS. This is great for some one like me, but I played through the entire game and only got two Shadow Link battles. I would have liked to have gotten more. Oh well.

Regarding your spoiler:
They're prizes from the battle tower at the high end. Apparently the Super Lamp is two hearts of damage, rather than a quarter.

Ah, yes. When I went up to death mountain to do that ice dungeon I first went into the tower and beat the first two challenges to get the heart piece. Then I bailed and did the dungeon. Then I was eager to go ahead and beat the game. So I forgot all about that challenge tower. I look forward to playing it and getting the super items!

I went through the entire game not realizing that the red potion doesn't restore ALL your hearts, but the blue potion does. I beat the game and at the end of the credits it told me I died zero times. I've probably never done that in a Zelda game, maybe in LttP on one of my many replays, but I usually die because I don't try hard enough not to. But with this game, I actually put some effort into not dying because of the item rental thing. I rented all of the items as soon as they were available, so I was careful not to die for that annoyance.

So I had three bottles of red potion and one bottle with a fairy in it (I have the fifth bottle but it has a golden bee inside) and went to the Treacherous Tower. I thought the red potions would restore all the hearts, but they only restore 7 or something. So I was playing the 50 levels advanced challenge and wasn't trying too hard since I thought I had 3 heart refills and a backup fairy. Yadda yadda yadda, I blew through the three red potions towards the end. Here's the kicker, I died on the last level against the boss... and I'm pretty sure I had to hit him just ONE MORE TIME!

So I died and saved. Oh well, now I have one death count on my file. I got all blue potions and kick the shit out of the 50 level challenge twice in a row.
Damn, does beating that give you a shit ton of rupees. I already had between 8 and 9000, so it just maxed my counter out at 9999. So I have the super lamp and net now, and only 6 heart pieces left to get. But I don't think I have the desire to hunt the last of the heart pieces.
