Hobie, when or what would be appropriate time or situation to wear the noose?

A formal, John Wayne dinner. Ten-gallon hat, and spurs optional.

It was originally made to wear on Valentines Day a long time ago. So then, Halloween, any time one wants to be subversive or amusing I suppose.

Amusingly, one of my work friends is a JR.

I used to hate ties, but now I wear them daily and have grown to love the style. I always want those fun/silly ties, but I never have the right occasion to wear them. I usually wear ties in work situations that require professionalism or romantic outings that call for something sexier than the three stooges.

Ties.
Hate 'em. I have one that's required for FFA, and a couple of bolos my great uncle gave me, but otherwise I have none and never have intentions to buy anymore. Part of it is due to my hatred of things touching/being around my neck, and my total dislike of the way ties look.
