Anyone else play this demo or get the full game?? It's simple but has a certain charm to it. 2D platformer with no weapons or attacks - just enemies and puzzles to navigate. I might be tempted to spend $2.50 on it but I'd like to know more.
There's lots of these community games out this week and next to no reviews... If you thought DL games got little attention from reviewers before, it seems these will get even less. And it's even harder to separate the wheat from the chaff on first glance here.

being looks ok. The rest kinda look like garbage with horrible sprites/color pallets or just look like a different better game. I'm not usually a hater, but I think better stuff will come along. Surely- if i had some MS points, i wouldnt' spend them on these. I still don't have galaga legions or 1942 joint strike, and i would rather have them over these games...
i think this is going to be the problem with community games. They actually have to compete with games like braid and bionic commando rearmed.

Re: Being - Xbox 360 community game
Gamerbytes is the site I've used for a while concerning anything PSN, Wiiware, or XBLA. It looks like they will continue to be the best resource, for Community games as well.
Out of the 32 released thus far, only 10 looked good enough for me to try, and I'll probably end up buying only a few of those. Obviously, these games will generally lack the "polish" of commercial titles, but those that come closest to that standard are more likely to get my money. So far I'm likely to buy Weapon of Choice and Biology Battle. Artoon is graphically polished, but I don't find it very fun. Being is so basic, but may be worth the $2.50. Kind of reminds me of I Wanna Be the Guy. Blow has a Braid "feel" to it, at least as far as music and laid back nature of the game. Most of the rest are just too simple and not much fun.

The 200 point price is about right, and I can see 400 for the best ones. The 800 price point is probably pushing it.
