For a game made in 1988 to still feel futuristic makes it ahead of its time in my eyes.
Futuristic how?
That it seems like a game from the future.
How so?
Is it just the sci-fi setting? Something specific about the gameplay mechanic or atmosphere (e.g. the weapon system or art design)? Was it "ahead of its time" in that it did something we still haven't seen but you think we will? Was it "ahead of its time" in that it did something that has been done since but hadn't been done then?
You make no sense, man. Maybe that's your point, but throwing around "ahead of its time" is gonna raise these questions!
(p.s. I am in "essay grading mode" right now, so there's that)
