Killing Floor - Twisted Christmas Event

Post by noiseredux »

is anyone into this? KF is on sale for $10 on Steam right now. Could be a festive way to spend some time?

EDIT: A 6 pack is $50, so $8 and change a person...

I think you mean Killing Floor?

The game has been in quite a few bundles, the $8 price tag is actually high when you take that into consideration.

I personally enjoyed the game for awhile, but found it became really repetitive, you also often get teamed up with people who are not 'team players' and the experience goes south quickly.

You can get the game rather cheap from people selling 4 packs, the game should be around 2 TF2 keys per copy. I can help you out with getting a copy that way, if you want me to.

that's what I said.
I'm less interesting in the proper game, and more just curious about the holiday themed mods.

The themed events tend to be a new level (sometimes same old level) with the same enemies but with themed skins. Sometimes a new boss, more often a old boss with a new skin.

Noise I'll send you one of the guest passes I got for the game. That way you should be able to play everything and figure out if it's something you want to put money down for.

 I'm newer to steam then you. I think you just have to activate it in your inventory.

It is sent the same way as a gift on steam, however the game will only remain in your account for a certain amount of time.

You can gift it across using the trade system and just activate it from your inventory.

Ack and I are making a run on it soon. My level 5 Sniper needs to get to level 6 somehow. Though I do love demo...

I just hope they dont screwup the hitboxes again.
