Blue Xbox End Labels

Post by Final Form »

I was at The Exchange today and noticed that there are certain copies of original Xbox games with the logo in blue on the end label.

*Took this from Ebay, but this is one of the games I saw with it.

There are other copies of the same games that have the standard green. Does anyone know what that means? Could it be a reprint? Would it have a different value?

Not a huge deal either way, but I can't find any info on it so I figured I would ask.

Exactly. Red and yellow fade faster in sunlight. Blue survives the longest. So green minus yellow is blue. Look at posters that have been in store windows for too long or old abandoned billboards. They'll all be blue.

Yup yup yup.

BTW it will have a different value, a lower one.

I don't think that particular copy was going to contribute too much to your retirement fund anyway...

Just get another game case and swap everything over. You can have bragging rights in owning a "rare" blue labeled game.

I'm reminded of all the "rare Gold SNES" listings that pop up on ebay from time to time
