An argument about kids could lead to a split man, that's some touchy ground to walk. But if you said beforehand you didn't want them, she really shouldn't have ground to stand on.

But it still sends the message "I DON'T want kids". And really, if she's still pushing kids at this point it's probably a sign that things won't work out long term. One of you would compromise what you want for the other and resent the other for the rest of your life.

Frown: The first words out of my wife's mouth this morning were "don't forget we're going to my family reunion today".

Four hours of driving, one hour of eating lousy food and pretending to remember people in a church cafeteria. And WE JUST SAW THE FAMILY on Thanksgiving. The only other people to see at the reunion are either too old to know who I am or too young to give a flip.

I promise you that if we didn't show, no one would notice or care. That, and my wife will find it to be rude if we leave early, but we are going to have to leave early as my dog is long in the tooth and leaving her in the house for over five hours is a one-way ticket to accidentville.

Here's a novel idea: Facetime with the family. Saves me time and gas money.

*Drives two+ hours* "Hi Mom and Dad. Bye Mom and Dad." *Drives two+ hours*

:D I'm hanging out with my nieces. I gave them there present i was supposed to give them last year. The box set of the original TMNT cartoon. we were watching it together and they seem to really like it. It’s so awesome watching my favorite cartoon as kid with them (tear). I wish i wouldn't have waited to buy this box set, now there over $300 :x

I’m so happy i get to see them again after so long. When they left the oldest could barely talk. now both talk very well. They grow up so fast

Frown: RIP my old Tie rack:

Homer's expression sums up how I reacted to see over fifty ties lying on my closet floor. And yes, I have a Simpsons tie, a dogs playing poker tie, and a Three Stooges tie. I'm set for any occasion.

I also have a Three Stooges tie, as well as a tie that explains the various grammatical rules of the English language. That one's a hit at gatherings for my field(library services).

I just realized that nearly 8% of my ties are silly, and that I currently own only fifty three ties. This guy needs a lot more ties.

Perhaps I shall not reveal how many white dress shirts I own.

If you're not schmoozing and canoodling often, all you really need are two ties; a solid black tie, and a solid tie that matches your eye color.

But seeing as I wear neck ties to amusement parks, I definitely need more ties.
