In your opinion, which character or characters are the most powerful in the gaming world, and why? Hero or villain, PC or console, dead or alive. My vote for one of the most powerful characters in gaming is:

Sarah Kerrigan from Starcraft (Zerg form). Not only can Kerrigan regenerate health at a rapid pace, she can also turn invisible with her cloaking ability and cast psionic storms with her psychic abilities. Her true strength, however, comes from her complete and utter control over the Zerg Swarm, allowing her to summon billions of Zerg to annihilate entire star systems and planets on a whim.

Going to have to go with Kratos, pretty sure he could take on Kerrigan and the entire Zerg. Don't get me wrong, i love Starcraft and Kerrigan is one fine villainous lady, but Kratos took out all the Gods and Titans of Olympia, with their minions too.

I'm going to come out and say Mario and Bowser.

Why?

Well neither are the strongest and neither wield particularly amazing abilities but both of them have this ungodly level of endurance and persistence. Dear lord could you imagine being on Mario's bad side? Bowser builds 30 billion giant castles filled with devious traps and lava and that stupid plumber still finds him and throws him around by the tail.
