How many full PS2 gamesaves does a 64mb memory card hold? I play a lot of PS2 so should I buy two or will one do?

Depends on the games, some use way more space than others.oxymoron wrote: How many full PS2 gamesaves does a 64mb memory card hold? I play a lot of PS2 so should I buy two or will one do?
It's a OEM memory card... at least that's what it says. Is it just me or is something a bit off?AppleQueso wrote:Depends on the games, some use way more space than others.oxymoron wrote: How many full PS2 gamesaves does a 64mb memory card hold? 64mb should be plenty, but i'd be weary about using those oversized 3rd party cards. They have a tendency to die on you.
Personally, I'd just stick with an official 8mb card and delete old saves as I need to. If you're really adamant about keeping those old saves, you could always invest in a Ps2 HDD and periodically back up your save data to that.
It looks official, it just seems off because it's for the Japanese market.oxymoron wrote:It's a OEM memory card... at least that's what it says. Maybe, but I have seen many people here get excited over titles then get disappointed where I knew all along it would be crap.Damm64 wrote:I believe that at least 90% on the people on the forums had your same "ability"...

I went to Target - $60. Didn't want to pay that much.
Went to Target's website. $45. Paid with a credit card and chose in-store pickup. Got an email half an hour later saying it was ready.
When I picked it up at the service desk I asked if it had simply been pulled off the shelf. The answer was yes. So yeah, I saved $15 by ordering it online.
Yeah, looks official to me. I'm surprised though, I thought all OEM ps2 cards were 8mb.BoringSupreez wrote: It looks official, it just seems off because it's for the Japanese market.
yeah a lot of times on the weekend you'll get a free game. But it's just for the weekend. When it says "1d" that means one day (left) to play it. It's just a nice way to give everyone free access to a game for a couple days to try before you buy. Think of it as a really big demo.RCBH928 wrote:Does Steam give you free games? I swear my game library has extra games I didn't buy. Some got something that says "early access -1d" and others has nothing, its just in my library.
Fake ass crap. Sony only made 8M cards and that SCPH-10020 code is the one for the official 8M. If they had made some other size, it would have a different code.oxymoron wrote: It's a OEM memory card... at least that's what it says. Is it just me or is something a bit off?
Thanks, dude. I knew something wasn't right. How many full saves on average does a 8mb hold though?Hobie-wan wrote:Fake ass crap. Don't buy that garbage. At least buy a known brand 8 card, not total knockoff crap.
