Went and chopped down our tree after kids got out of school today. We'll definitely have some memories from this one...34" of fresh snow in the past 3 days. Then the cold - so none of it had a chance to compact down at all. Each step was up to the hips - took an hour to go in and out about 120' into the woods. Even with good boots my feet turned grey and we couldn't have been out much longer - about -5 right now, but will be -15 once the sun goes down (-40 w/wind chill). Kids were troopers and we might have even gotten our Christmas card picture out of the deal - so good stuff all around. I'll post a pic or two later.

That sounds great. We haven't had a decent snow in quite a few years. I love the winter.

Speaking as a lifelong Texan, I am absolutely terrified. I am horrified both by the frozen world from which you hail and that I co-exist in a world where frozen men like you roam the tundra.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
