They have their moments, but there was something cool about 2D Zeldas. I really want to play Link Between Worlds and Link's Awakening. Zelda 2 is still my favorite Zelda game, followed by Link to the Past
They have some really cool musical nods to Zelda II in Link Between Worlds.

Played through the first chapter of Bayonetta. Pretty fun so far, or at least it was once I got more used to the controls and using Witch Time.

I am playing Mirror's Edge on the PS3. I am not a huge FPS fan. The game emphasizes puzzle solving, evasion, and speed, however, and I am really enjoying it. I am also about half way through it, and I will probably beat it soon.

I am also playing Batman: The Brave and the Bold on both the Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS. (They are completely different games, and they are intended to complement one another.) Despite the complete lack of anything resembling a challenge, they are both really fun (and my children adore them). Moreover, they were both developed by WayForward, and it shows. The games are over flowing with DC Comics fan service; the frequent boss battles are engaging; the 2D animation and voice work in the Wii version is spectacular; and the sprite work in the DS version reminds me of Treasure's best work. (The DS version also reminds me of The Adventures of Batman & Robin (SNES)...which is certainly not a bad thing.) My children and I are enjoying both games tremendously - they are making my 4-year-old daughter a superhero fanatic - and I will write about them more after I polish them off this weekend.

I'm sort of playing a few different games. Persona 1, Persona 2 Innocent Sin, Ace Attorney 5, Penny Arcade Adventures 3 and Professor Layton and Pandora's Box. I've put quite a few hours into all of them. I hope to have them finished by the end of February.

I've recently gone back to Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. I am disappointed to see the DLC got taken down long ago. I maybe will stream some of the harder simulations and achievements in that game (not that any were really 'hard')

Teraway has been good so far, but it hasn't wowed me like I thought it would. Just kinda simple and formulaic.

MUA2 felt like such a step down from the first game. I was pretty disappointed in it.

It is, but it has the best assortment of Marvel heroes in a beat em up, so I like messing around with fantasy team up combinations that will never happen in the books :) It could have been so much more, I wish some legit developer could get their hands on the licensing and make a 3rd one to end all. Maybe using the stories like Infinity Gauntlet, Onslaught Saga or Fear Itself... would LOVE any of those.

I honestly play too much and nothing at all. One day I will get a bug and play some PS3 RPG (Ni no Kuni, currently) for like 5 hours straight. Next day, it will be like my consoles don't exist. I just need to stop being so damn ADHD and beat a game for once.

Don't fret, my backlog reached well over 600 games months ago. :?

I have this nasty habit of picking up games new and not playing them for years. Over and over again (does this make me insane?) expecting different results.

I mean I have yet to play Skyrim, Crysis 3, Farcry 3, Halo 4, COD Blops 2 etc. yet I own them all, still shrinkwrapped (luckily most times I find a killer sale) but still. I do this even ACKNOWLEDGING that I probably won't play them for a long time and their price will have dropped to $10 new by the time I play.

Career, Family, Addiction to Fighting games and being active in many social circles- You'd be surprised how little time there is in a day anymore.
