It does something like triple or quadruple the damage you take, but it doesn't affect enemy AI or attack patterns.

You also can only replenish hearts via red potions or fairies.

Whoops, I thought people were asking about Wind Waker HD's Hero mode. Dunno if that applies here.

I only had ~30 minutes yesterday to play LBW, so I decided to just give the baseball mini game another go. Only took 3 or 4 tries and I broke 100!

Do the rupee mini games have heart pieces? I hope not.

Finally beat this a few days ago. Love it. My one thought about the ending is...*spoilers, obviously*...
I wish that Hilda's plan had succeeded. It'd set up the game for another sequel and it would fit really well with the original Legend of Zelda and Zelda II that happen at the end of the "Hero Fails" time line, where Hyrule is pretty much decimated. It'd be a real nerdgasm for me if they explained the lack of civilization in the original game as the affect of Hyrule's triforce being in Lorule for a couple centuries before it was returned in a hypothetical sequel.
Other than that, this game was absolutely lovely.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Both of the rupee rushes, the footrace, the tower, and the second chest game have heart pieces.

Yeah, I figured. Oh well, I guess I'll just suck it up if I wanna get all the heart pieces. Then again... maybe I just wont get them! I only have two dungeons left. The ice one on Death Mountain (whatever) and the Fire one in the swamp. Got both my ice and fire rods upgraded, so I'm ready to go! And while I'm up there in the mountain, I'll finally get rid of this bottle of milk.

I'm at 73 babies now. I have a bunch of sections with 0 now. There's one in particular that's pissing me off though. It's right by Link's house (in Hyrule). It's just to the NW of his house, where there's the river just North of a patch that leads to the Castle's bridge and a path South between trees. I hear a baby, but I can't find the little fucker. I ran into every tree, I've looked in the water, I just don't see it. There's no stones or anything, no sand pits... Where is this guy!?

If no one knows what location I'm talking about, I might just get a screen shot of it if I can't find it.

Try the tornado rod. There's a handful of babies that require it.

Ah, that was it. Thanks! There were all those little white squares on the ground, and I assumed they were a sort of stone path. But after using the tornado rod they blew away.

Now here's another one that's starting to piss me off: In the Southernest part of Hyrule, by what would be the water temple in LttP, there's a heart piece that I can't get to. There's a V shape of this pillar things, and a cave entrance or exit, and in the middle the heart piece. Looks like this:

Code: Select all

       OOOO
        OOO
        V ♥ V
         VV
          V
The O's are the the cave, and the V's are the pillars. I can't figure out how to get in there though. I figured obviously you come out of that cave and get the heart piece then go back into the cave to exit. But I can't find anything. Then I figured, oh, obviously you go to Lorule and then find a teleport some where that would get you in there. But again I found nothing.

There's a different cave entrance you go through and it'll exit at that heart piece. No Lorule necessary.
