Only if the developers decide that you don't have to use it! Games like Ninja Gaiden DS and Zelda require that you solely use it!

There's nothing wrong with the touchscreen. It works perfectly well in the games that support it well. The games that just use it as a big extra button or some bullshit like that don't deserve your money. It's that simple.

With everybody jumping on the bandwagon to Nintendo-hate-town it's getting tiring. Sometimes I don't know if people have genuine opinions or are just splurging the latest 'argument' about why Nintendo sucks etc. Everyone seems to have the same argument though. "ergh, Nintendo Wii is played by non-gamers omg, it's got the lergy. I'm gonna turn into a casual gamer zomg, Oh noes". That 'opinion' is old, tired and just screams of fanboyism. And I HATE fanboys.

I post in all kinds of threads, not just Nintendo ones. And Nintendo has received plenty of money from me over the years so I have the right to criticize them if I want. The whole mod comment I made was just in reference to the fact that lordofduct has openly, unapologetically bashed Nintendo a few times on the forum and I've never seen anyone jump down his throat about it. It's just opinions

If you like Nintendo that's cool. No need to get upset if we've got some criticisms of them.
