How Much Is It Worth?

Post by BurningDoom »

So I'm thinking of selling my Wii. It has all the original packaging, paperwork, packing material, etc. It has all the parts, and it works. It's the black model that originally came with the Wii Sports and Wii Sports resort pack-ins.

I'm asking worth, because I don't want to sell the Sports Resort games with it, nor do I want to sell the Wii Mote and Nunchuk because you need those for some Wii U games (which is why I plan on selling my Wii, to help fund my Wii U purchase).

With all the original packaging and artwork, but without the controllers and Sports games, around how much do you think I should ask for?

BTW, everyone feel free to use this thread for future inquiries.

I'd say $50-$75 probably.

I can't speak for what anyone values the box at, but I bought a white Wii console-only this year for $40.

If it's in great condition with the packaging AND it's a BC model. I would pay $50-$60.

My wife is going to look at one today that a woman only wants $20.

Id probably shoot around $35-$50 shipped. Without controllers or games it's not going to get a ton of attention from the average person.

Yeah, those boxes aren't worth much - many people kept boxes after seeing original NES boxes and the like be worth something 20 years later...but there are tens of thousands of boxes with paperwork lying about. More importantly - that box is a direct tie-in, but you aren't including the tie-ins, so...

It's basically a wii console w/o a controller. $40-50 shipped, gonna cost at least $15 to ship it in the large original box...which honestly isn't worth what it costs to ship it. You'll be lucky to clear $30 tbh. I'd probably keep it for that.

$30 is still better than $0. I see no point in keeping the original Wii when the Wii U can play Wii games, access the original Wii Shop, and I own a GameCube.
