Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
the new AC does look great, but I'm always apprehensive about jumping into a series without playing earlier ones. I mean, I'll play Bioshock Infinite before any AC game, but I still haven't played Bioshock 1 & 2.
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I meant I'm playing the new Zelda...which is what you asked about (and yes, I am also playing AC4). I know you love LttP as much as me, and this game is an amazing love letter to those of us who hold that game in high regard.noiseredux wrote:the new AC does look great, but I'm always apprehensive about jumping into a series without playing earlier ones. The PC version of Assassin's Creed I and II is $10 at Target right now.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I did end up getting AC4 last night. Figured I wouldn't see it for that price for quite a while and Zelda still cost more than it. Why not? I've never really jumped into an AC game. Played a bit of 1 with a friend every once in a while when I would visit.
Older. Not wiser.
Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I played through 1, some of 2, and now half a dozen hours or so of AC4. Thus far, 4 is easily my favorite and doesn't really require any previous knowledge of the other games in order to have a lot of fun.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:I did end up getting AC4 last night. Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I finished it this Sunday and it might be one of my favorite Zelda games now. I loved it and I pretty much spent the entire game with a goofy grin on my face and the 3D turned on (which I pretty much don't do for 3DS games.)dsheinem wrote:Cool. I thought the music was really strong in this entry and it paired pretty nicely with Ocarina, which I beat back to back with this Zelda. (Man I really need to update my games beaten thread.)
Let strength be granted, so the world might be mended...so the world might be mended.

Re: Random Gaming Thoughts
I tried playing AC1 but it was too boring. AC2 seems like a lot more fun so far, and I've heard almost only good things about AC4.

I heard that you can jump in AC 4 without knowledge of any of the previous games since now theres a new main character i think.
AC 4 looks really cool... but only because they are pirates and pirates are always cool.
