So I got a PS4 on Friday (the UK launch) and I'm very pleased with it. I pre-ordered with ShopTo who chose to ship with DPD and I have to say, they were excellent. Last year, I pre-ordered the Wii U from Amazon who shipped with City Link. There was no real tracking information and I ended up waiting until 5pm for my Wii U. With DPD, there was updates, they gave you the option of changing delivery date if you weren't going to be in, or the option of choosing a neighbor's address to leave it with. On top of that, they gave you a delivery estimate (mine was 11:16-12:16 and sure enough, my PS4 came at 11:16am, on the dot). Great stuff.

Onto the PS4, despite all the horror stories, I've had no problems with mine so far (fingers crossed).

The games I've got are Killzone, Assassin's Creed 4, Lego Marvel Superheroes, Contrast, Resogun and Escape Plan. All are solid enough games. Killzone is the one game that made me go "wow, now THIS is next gen gaming," at least visually. Gameplay wise, it isn't the greatest game ever, but I'm having fun all the same.

As for the console, what can I say? The PS4 is great. It's literally everything it could be. I love the design of the console and it fits under my TV very well. The controller is excellent. I actually think it looks worse than the Dualshock 3 in terms of design, but in terms of functionality and usability, it is a massive improvement! It's such a brilliant controller.

I love the new interface too. I love how switching between apps and games is really slick and instantaneous. Using Music Unlimited is really great too.

Conclusion. Once there's some more games out and developers have learned how to get the best out of the console, we're going to have a great generation ahead of us.

PS4 doesnt seem as fun as my classic console.
I have no game for it because i sold off my copy of BattleField4 for GTAV.

Nothing reallly interest me right now so itll collect dust until the next batch of new games.

Till infamous second son I presume? You should have given bf4 another chance it really is a good game IMO. Albeit the multiplayer is kinda crappy but fun. Then again if you had the x1 you wouldn't have let your new next gen system collect dust until early next year. ;)

What? Don't you mean the singleplayer? Multiplayer is the whole point of Battlefield.

Is it really that hard to find one? With a million shipped at launch , I think everyone that was going crazy to get one got his already . Unless Sony made a huge batch at first then saved the other consoles for launches else where in the world with a very limited supply to the USA. Maybe to create hype?
