Re: Metal Heads Assemble!!
For some reason that watermark on the logo (album cover?) caused me to lol more than anything else. Well done.

Speaking of which - I can't take full credit. My art skills aren't THIS good.

Re: Metal Heads Assemble!!
Here's one that caught my attention:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kxleh1x85Po
It was listed on someone's RYM list, and I really like the sound here. I also like the use of the harsh vocals- use them as backing like that is a case where I really like them. I also like them used in opposition, whether clean vs harsh or beauty and the beast style.

stfu hater they r NOT NU-METAL
deftones certainly aren't nu-metal... not no way, not no how
are they any kind of metal? yes... heavy distorted guitars (and screaming) usually do the trick for making something fit into a metal subgenre of some sort... in this case, i believe the term is alternative-metal. And they're still making awesome songs...one thing any actual nu-metal band can't say for themselves.
..in other news, I'm still looking for feedback from any interested parties in regards to my bands' new demos!

we tend to go by the subgenre mashup of alternative-experimental-metal, it's the briefest one we can come up with.. there's a long list of bands we sound like if you put them all in a blender, spit in it, and hit puree.. check us out \m/
here's our list of influences from our online profiles:
Including but not limited to: Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, The Locust, Car Bomb, Tool, Radiation 4, System of a Down (Self-Titled), Dillinger Escape Plan, As the Sun Sets/Daughters, Glassjaw, Mike Patton (Tomahawk, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Fantomas, etc.), Converge, Meshuggah, Stone Temple Pilots, The Mars Volta (De Loused In the Comatorium), Radiohead, Deftones, Nine Inch Nails (Downward Spiral, The Fragile), Dog Fashion Disco/Polkadot Cadaver, etc.
