Mass Effect 3 Special Edition - Assistance Needed (SPOILERS)

Post by ReddMcKnight »

Hey all. I beat Mass Effect 3 on the 360 sometime back, but I kind of want to give it another shot on the Wii U. That being said, I kind of suck at Multiplayer Mode, which is practically needed to yield a good ending. With that, are there any alternatives to yielding a good ending, while avoiding Multiplayer Mode completely? (I doubt anyone even plays it anymore).

You need to play multiplayer to get a good ending? God dammit... I don't like really multiplayer (unless it's the old school, local type) and am never very good at it.

I'm still playing through the first game, BTW, but I'm hoping I will eventually have got through the whole trilogy.

lol, don't worry - there is no good ending to ME3, regardless of what you do beforehand or what modes you play.

Multiplayer is only needed to unlock a hidden stinger at the end. In terms of the actual story ending you can do that doing only single player.

I thought multiplayer simply put a modifier on your readiness rating, allowing access to the full ending options without doing as much in the main game.

Pretty much. When I did ME3 I was able to fill the bar without doing multiplayer. At the time the stinger required you to have double the amount to fill the bar, or something around there. I believe they lowered the requirements on it when they published the extended ending DLC.
