i'm starting to think that if i had gone in there with my family and done it like Frag and samson had been, they would have been a lot nicer. but as it was it just looked like some punk kid with long hair trying to game the system.
Here's a tip:
Show the Managers the slip from the Angel Tree. Tell them you're buying Christmas presents for a needy child. Watch how quickly their attitudes change.
Words like "fraud" and "felony" turn into "store policy" real fast.
Frankly, I don't blame Wal*Mart for putting a stop to this. I would if I was in their place.

yeah i definitely understand where they are coming from. so i didn't try to argue or anything, it's not like i had a right to do what i was doing. i'm just glad they didn't make it any more awkward for me than it already was. oh well.

If you paid up, I wouldve just taken my shit and left. They can't hold you there.
yeah i should have just left. she was standing awkwardly in front of me, though, and i didn't have a receipt yet because she stopped me before i had input all of the coupons at the end of the transaction.
Oh fuck them! How could they prove you were knowingly doing it? And yes they can't hold you there. Hell my friend used to work at Wal-mart and he said they couldn't stop people who were outright stealing.
believe me, there's no sense of entitlement from me on this issue, i knew exactly what it was and the risks involved. i got some neat stuff for my house, my girlfriend, my dad and my son. didn't get to get all of the toys i wanted to get but it's all good. no big deal and no need to press the issue.
