Metal Gear Solid is one of the bet game's ever. VR missions is okay for a quick distraction.
Re: are these games worth it?
Yes, but in all fairness there IS a new collection for the PS2 called "Metal Gear Solid: The Essential Collection", but IDK if you can get it in Australia. It has Metal Gear Solid 1 (PS1 in a PS2-style case w/ cover), and also the 2nd and 3rd games.MaliceValentine wrote:im looking into the metal gear game's for ps1 and wanted reccomendations because down here in AUS a copy fetches a pretty penny of 50 Aud$ need to know if it's worth it!

It's also only $29.99 MSRP!

$30 for the first 3 mgs games. If we see that here, I can guarantee that it will be well over $100. Because we get raped on everything.
You'd think with all the ps1 owners here in Australia it would be easy to find cheap. But then again, whenever I try to buy a spare Dreamcast, I can't find em for less than $130.And that machine wasn't really what you would call "rare".

The only way to deactivate the ray beam and fight back the vampire alien threat is with a complicated series of foot patterns on the device's control board that looks remarkably like a DDR pad. We will all praise this man for saving our lives and buy him a mountain of stuffed animals.

If you got a modded ps1 (or want to emu) just dl it first. It's still my all time favourite game. I play it through at least twice a year.

Hey, now, I'll gladly ship to AUS if you buy my stuff and pay for shipping.
An NTSC copy of Chrono Cross sells brand new for $20 off Target.com and the like. Sounds like you just need to get a Paypal account and someone who will send you stuff.
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games
