Can't be worse than the cliché storm that was The Tower of Druaga and I saw that

But yeah, you are right AppleQueso XD

Didn't know where else to put this, but I recently bought volume 1 of Trigun Maximum Omnibus. So far its pretty damn good... but I am only a few pages into the book.

Note: If there is a manga thread, I missed it... please put this there if one exist. Thanks.

The baseball episode was EPIC.

The baseball episode is one of the greatest things Watanabe has ever done. I'm looking forward to his upcoming series Space Dandy.

The BlazBlue anime is so bad. I tried to give it an honest chance but there's no denying it's just plain bad. Very obvious they were just using the name to sell it and put zero effort into it. This is going to be a rough ride to the end, luckily it is only 12 episodes.

They didn't put much effort into adapting BB. The story kind of works in the context of the visual novel/fighter story mode. But as an anime with no effort into changing things drastically to make it WORK as an anime.. The only reason I keep watching is because I am a huge fan of the games.

Space Dandy may be interesting. His last series was OKAY. Kids on the Slope. It hardly went anywhere either. It seemed like it could have gotten into real issues w/ jazz musicians of the time like the older guy being a drug addict. I thought it was implied that he was an addict. But then it just sort of ended. I saw it when it was airing and can't remember many specifics or names anymore.

Agreed. Samurai Champloo is my favorite anime series, and the baseball episode is probably the most memorable for me, after the finale of course.

I recently started re-watching both Mushishi on my lunch breaks, and Wolf's Rain with my girlfriend. Both are proving to be just as good as I remembered from the first time I saw them, mostly because I've largely forgotten what happens in both.

I also reluctantly let my girlfriend convince me to try the English dub of Wolf's Rain, and I must admit, it has a fantastic cast of voice actors. Johnny Yong Bosch (Vash from Trigun) voices Kiba, Crispin Freeman (Alucard from Hellsing) voices Tsume, Joshua Seth (Tai from Digimon) voices Hige, and Mona Marshall (Izzy from Digimon) voices Toboe. Oh, and Steve Blum (Spike from Cowboy Bebop) voices Darcia. How can you go wrong?

How can you go wrong? Well, it's all preference, but that lineup sounds putrid to me.

I also finished Champloo. It was a great show and I loved the baseball episode. I don't mind the story being rather simple; it was a great show with it's one episode stories alone. The They had to reach their destination sometime. I thought the ending was great and less feelsy than another Shinchiro anime that I love.

Haha yeah, it's definitely preference. The two from Digimon definitely aren't my first choice, but I'd let Crispin Freeman or Steve Blum talk me to sleep any night.
