Get a hard case with a zipper?

Sorry, screen protectors are not for me, and im sorry you have had damage done your console when out and about.

Accidents happen and the 3DS screens rub eachother while closed. No need to be so flabbergasted by the idea of somebody wanting to protect their hardware. Many modern screen protectors are unnoticeable if applied correctly. I have them on my 3DS and not a single soul who has used it notices it.

I have a Hori hard case. It DOES NOT prevent the screens from pressing together. Not at all.
My B/S/T thread! :)

Why use a screen protector? are you like 8 years old?

Ive never used a screen protector on my DS, DS Lite, or 3DS XL, and they are in perfect condition, do you like play your game vigorously or something?

I just hate the idea of covering up the screen and ruining its integrity, it's like putting a nerf protector over a themed handheld like the new Zelda 3DS XL, it covers up its beauty.
Wow what a condescending way to say it, no I am not 8 years old, I just know from the experience of 2 previous 3ds's (an original launch, and xl) that the top screen WILL get permanent marks from the bottom bezel from just normal use. My original one had it bad, my first XL was not nearly as bad, but still noticeable, and I do not want it to happen to my new zelda edition. I also plan on getting a case for it, but want to keep it as good condition as possible, and a few dollars for screen protectors seems like a no brainer.

Get Hori screen protectors. They can be a little on the pricy side but I've never been disappointed with them.

Some one has never played Elite Beat Agents or Rhythm Paradise. Those games are screen destroyers for sure.

I can usually find them on Ebay from Japan or China for less than a dollar including shipping.

I always see Elite Beat Agents mentioned in this context, but I had a DS lite, and finished the game 100% S rank (or whatever it was called in the game) except for the last section of the very last song as the cheerleaders. I didn't have a single scratch or mark on my screen. I used the regular stylus with no protection whatsoever.

I am tempted to get a 3DS due to the upcoming December update. I'm on the fence, though. There are maybe 10 games total DS and 3DS that I would want, and I already have a backlog of six Wii U games to play.

You're lucky. I remember when I first got my DS I used to play Pac N Roll and that made my screen look like I was using a cat paw and not a stylus. All my DS have been that way. Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I don't have any on my 3DS but I always use my fingers and never the stylus on that, and I have screen protectors.
