The vast majority of people know nothing about metal. What they think doesn't really matter.

Yes, the majority of girls I've met.
This is just what you think, spend a month with each of them and your answer will be quite different.

Another thing, although not necessarily metal but metal related, is that I am liking quite a bit of dungeon synth. Although I'm not a black metal fan, a lot of this stuff interests me just because of the medieval and fantastical vibe a lot of it gives off. It makes me think of the Souls games or general dark fantasy. I'm not a fan of the beliefs of some of the creators, but luckily their views don't come through in the music and I like that.

EDIT: I don't really think I can call out the female race for being crazy, as most I have met have been fine. I think its just certain ones, like metal girls, that are in question. Similar to how most metal guys are probably at least a little wrong in the head.

You're doing this again. Don't do this again. It's asinine and unfounded.

How loud they like their guitars has zero to do with female behavior. If you seriously believe that, this tells me you must have little to no experience with any sort of meaningful female interaction. This also tells me you are quite fortunate!

Really though, come on. You are above such goofy high school thinking.

I like dungeon synth too. Especially Mortiis, Wongraven, Pazuzu, Dark Ages, Lord Wind, and Depressive Silence.

The Burzum synth albums suck ass though.

I remember hearing Daudi Baldrs for the first time and laughing my ass off. I didn't think it'd actually be CASIO keyboards!

Haha, I just looked it up to listen to it. I wasn't expecting something equivalent to a Midi file! My Super Nintendo puts out better sound.

On the first paragraph, not funny.

I don't really think I'm above it honestly. At least not right now.

Lord Lovidicus has covers of some of the Burzum stuff, and it is a hell of a lot better. I have found some stuff that sounds a whole lot like an old school DOS or NES fantasy game soundtrack though.
