Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Sad news. I still use Winamp 2.91 on a daily basis.

I went ahead and downloaded the latest installer for the future, when I set up a new machine.

foorbar2000 is better if you're looking for advanced options or editing but I've always used and will use Winamp. I just really like it and always have for whatever reason. I use it on my phone too.

It was my first MP3 player, memorable for the Wesley Willis tagline.

I didn't realize anyone still used Winamp or that it still existed. Interesting.

What does (did) it do for the average listener that Zune or iTunes doesn't? I used Winamp back in the day, because what else was there?

I too use Winamp pretty much daily and have since whenever the hell it debuted (I was in high school, I think).

It doesn't have a hugeass interface and lets you just quickly drag/add files to a playlist, rather than building up a library.

I use Winamp exclusively for music on my computers and always have, and even if they are releasing a "final version" ill continue to use it.

In fact my current version of Winamp is from Dec 9, 2011, so lol dont care.
