MVS cart shell color variants
So I have gotten into collecting for the Neo Geo MVS and I have noticed that the shells come in such a wide variety of colors, do these colors mean anything? Are certain colors rarer than others? I like the fact that some come in a clear shell it makes it easy to tell if its a bootleg or not without even opening the cart.

There doesn't seem to be a ton of rhyme or reason to the shell colors, but there are a few consistencies between them. I know that solid red ones are Korean versions, and I believe white ones were rental copies.

this thread needs pictures.

The colours, Duke! THE COLOURS!"
there was also a second varient of the white shells with the "SNKG" on them that are ex-rental carts.

& the red carts with red labels are Korean, i believe

other than those i don't think the colour really "means" anything (i.e. no real difference between a black US Metal Slug X or a transparent green US Metal Slug X)

I just love all the multi colored MVS carts, reminds me of famicom carts.
