On which console? I had planned on playing Rampage on the NES with a friend tonight and beating the game (I know it takes forever) then remembered I have a handful of Rampage games that might have the original arcade game as a bonus.
Any suggestions?
What's the best arcade port of the original Rampage?

It's on Midway Arcade Origins (PS3/Xbox 360). Direct arcade port.
I guarantee it's on one of the 6th gen Midway compilations as well.
Not sure what games have it as a "bonus" tho...

Rampage: Total Destruction should have it as a bonus.BoneSnapDeez wrote:It's on Midway Arcade Origins (PS3/Xbox 360). Direct arcade port.

Rampage: Total Destruction (GC/PS2/Wii) contains both Rampage (ARC) and Rampage: World Tour (ARC) as bonus features.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Not sure what games have it as a "bonus" tho...

I got the 2600 port of Rampage based on screenshots. It was graphically poor but sorta playable. I found out those screenshots were from a computer port instead
The original is on the first Midway Arcade Treasures (PC/GC/Xbox/PS2) and also on the newer Midway Arcade Origins, and yes, it's unlockable in Total Destruction along with Rampage World Tour, which also appears on Midway Arcade Treasures 2 for the same 4 consoles.

Oh man I forgot this even existed. Ikari Warriors and Double Dragon are pretty shaky on Atari as well.ExedExes wrote:I got the 2600 port of Rampage based on screenshots. It was graphically poor but sorta playable. I found out those screenshots were from a computer port instead![]()

Volume 2 actually - I'm looking at my Dreamcast copy of Midway's Greatest Arcade Hits.noiseredux wrote:it is. Vol 1 I'm pretty sure.BoneSnapDeez wrote:It's on Midway Arcade Origins (PS3/Xbox 360). Direct arcade port.

I own that and the Apple II version of Rampage. It's a fun game to be sure! Does anyone have experience with the Sega Master System version? How does that compare with other versions?

Midway Arcade Origins is $10 at WalMart, I just picked it up yesterday. I would nab it up!
I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)
Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping!

I have all of the ones listed, plus the GBA port. My question wasn't what games have the port, but What's The Best One?
I didn't feel like leaving any of my newer consoles on for three hours in one sitting, so I played the NES version last night. And although it's repetitive, at least the NES game has music.
