niode, how does the 1000 do TV-Out? Do you mean Remote Joy? I knew about that, but thought that was just, um "monitor out"? Is there a way to get actual TV-Out on the 1000??

There is a way to get TV-out on the PSP-1000 with an internal mod.

I prefer remotejoy. It's much better coupled with the fact that I can use a real joypad on it. I'd rather have that than having to put up with the PSPs controls while watching it on a TV.

Besides there's not much point in TV-out anyway. If you have to be tethered to a TV to use it, it's not very portable is it? Just get a PS2 for a fraction of the price and have access to most of the PSPs library anyway.

oh yeah, I was just curious really. I actually dont use my PSP for gaming all that much surprisingly. I mean, I have some games for it in case I have to kill some time when I'm out, but for the most part it's my mp3-player/video-player/web-browser toy.

I do 95% of my gaming on my PS2, which I love to pieces. I won't upgrade to a PS3 until all the backward compatibility issues are fixed. I thinkt he PS3 is a great console, but game-wise, there's such an amazing catalog of PS1 and PS2 games.
