This must be one of the most misleading game/media covers ever. What were they thinking releasing this to a game that is funny, happy, and cartoony. For the longest time I thought this might be some kind of a horror game.

I also didn't realize it was the cover of the game I always wanted. I used to play this in the Arcade and the graphics were jaw dropping . I heard it was Bubble Bobble but when I googled it I got a platformer on the NES instead.

Which version is the truest to the arcade?

Bust-A-Move is the same as Puzzle Bobble but Puzzle Bobble and Bubble Bobble are TOTALLY DIFFERENT.

I don't know about arcade faithfulness but Bust-A-Move 2 is totally worthwhile. I have it for the Saturn and love it! And I also love that the cover art is HELLA DISTURBING. I don't know what they were thinking!

Maximum Carnage and Separation Anxiety were cool And the WWF wrestling games were fun. But other than that, they were pretty bad. This is the company that owned LJN. The company that made Back to the Future and Uncanny X-Men for NES.

So I'm in Marietta, GA for some training. Can any of your Atlanta boys (fastbilly, Ack) recommend some worthwhile video game shops and arcades?

If you can find one, let me know. Truth be told, the only one I know of is about thirty miles south of the city on I-85 in Newnan.

That said, if you can venture into Atlanta proper, there's the Joystick Gamebar. I've been a few times but tend to forget it's there, even though it's within walking distance. Here's the address: 427 Edgewood Ave SE, Atlanta, GA 30312

Nothing anywhere near Marietta. Like Ack said there is one in Newnan. And there is one in Kennesaw. Both are atleast an hour from downtown Marietta.

Sadly Atlantas Retrogaming scene has died over the past few years. Playntrade moved in and made it hopping for a bit, but then it died off as they started closing.
