I I do not know of good movies based on videogames, but was Mario Bros. that bad? I watched it a long time ago where I didn't have a critical mind.
Doom was a bad movie , but the DVD cover was one of the best I have seen. It pulls you in to grab it.
I was wondering, if I use VPN to watch Hulu , will I be doing something illegal? Because its restricted to USA only?

haha, it hasn't been long enough for me. I actually watched in January of this year. I need time.Ack wrote:Screw all of you, we're watching Double Dragon.
Here's my 'review' of it:
noiseredux wrote: If you want to say there was a plot in there somewhere, then yeah. The treatment would be "the movie is somewhat based around Jimmy and Billy's medallions."
Oh and street gangs with themes like The Warriors come out at night which is why there's a curfew for everyone in 2007. And cars run on garbage, I think because of a big earthquake or something?
The final scene is Abobo asking if he can hangout with Billy & Jimmy and he drives their car and they're scared cuz he drives erratically.

That I'm all for. The first five and last ten minutes of that movie are incredible trainwrecks.Ack wrote:Screw all of you, we're watching Double Dragon.

It's not good, but there are far worse movies out there. If it didn't have the SMB title I don't think anyone would remember it.RCBH928 wrote:I I do not know of good movies based on videogames, but was Mario Bros. that bad? I watched it a long time ago where I didn't have a critical mind.

Only the first five and last ten? That movie is a monument to how cheesy things could get in the 90s.Luke wrote:That I'm all for. The first five and last ten minutes of that movie are incredible trainwrecks.Ack wrote:Screw all of you, we're watching Double Dragon.

The 90's were fucking amazing. The five years I spent in them were great. Don't hate on them.
Wet Hot American Summer
I really wish I could actually sit down and watch all of it at once. I never get to because my parents don't like quite a bit of the humor in it. I still think it is funny as hell, and the conversation between Katie and Coop at the end is probably one of the most realistic moments ever to have existed in a comedy movie.

You must not read a lot of my posts, then. Trust me, no hate for the 90s, here. But you have to admit, things got pretty dang cheesy at times in the 90s, and Double Dragon the Movie is a shining example of that.Forlorn Drifter wrote:The 90's were fucking amazing.
