That's a great game, my favorite in the series. The Wii control scheme is sublime. Give it a shot if you have a spare 55 hours or so.

It was actually the second Wii game I purchased after I got the system. Funny thing is, back then I only had about 15 games total in my entire collection.

Picked up Paladin's Quest the other day (with the manual, no less!) which brings me one step closer to completing my SNES RPG collection.

Also got The Sword of Hope, which is a forgotten first-person JRPG for the Game Boy. Seems decent so far. There's a sequel I'd like to try as well. The series is called "Selection" in Japan apparently, where there was also a compilation cart containing both games.

I went to the Xbox One midnight release and got Zelda. Totally worth it. Everyone was looking at me, all confused.

That and the first Symphonia are getting an HD remake next year.

I'm kinda interested in the Tales series, but I've never played any of them. I might pick that up...

I got my first pay in from my new job this month, so I spoiled myself a little. I'm surprised to see that I spent less than I thought though!

MGS2 and Bombastic were cheap pick ups in a 2nd hand game shop. Parappa the Rapper was purchased from eBay for Together Retro, and had free postage. Perfect Dark and the 5 GBA games were found at a boot fair - I already own Golden Sun, so I'll probably sell that one on. Kuri Kuri Mix was a game shop pick up to play with my girlfriend, and in the US it's called The Adventures of Cookies and Cream. Solar Striker, Bangai O, Another Code and Castlevania were all eBay auctions, and the prices include the postage. F1 race was part of a bundle with solar striker, so I ended up with that whether I wanted it or not. I was amused to see Toad from Mario Bros has a cameo though. Kirby's Epic Yarn was a gift from my girlfriend which we're playing through together.

This is probably my last big game shop this year. I'll have plenty more games to add next month I'm sure, but they'll be birthday and Christmas presents, so they won't add to my total much. Interested to see how much I spent this year.

Spent far less than I anticipated this month since I only bought one console, which now I find out I will be reimbursed for (at which point I'll add those funds back in to the total). I actually expect to finish the year in the black, which is good considering I'll probably have a slightly smaller (but better) collection starting 2014 than I did when I started 2013.
