What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I love everything about that woman, and "the trip" was one of the best Oscar moments ever.
These two statements don't seem congruous.

I think you should use some Clear Eyes yourself if you think J.L. is 4 outta 10.

My idea was to stick with movies that are streaming on various services if possible, so there'd be an ease in getting folks to join in. But I don't know, I figured I'd just pick like "third Tues of every month is movie night" or whatever. And just try to mix it up content-wise. Nothing too formal. I'm not really sure how it would work though. Maybe a batch of folks could aim to start watching around the same time and hang out in IRC or something. Who knows maybe some could watch it in the Crackle theater via PS Home? Haha. But yeah I hadn't really worked it all out yet.

Or you could just ask people "What Movie based on a video game isn't terrible?" and save people the punishment.

In high school my friends and saw MORTAL KOMBAT at least three times in the theater knowing that it stunk, but loved the Scorpion/Cage match. But I am hard pressed to think of a good movie based on a video game.

as a fan of terrible movies, and video game movies, and terrible video game movies - why on Earth would you think I'd want to pick only video game movies that aren't terrible?

We both love some of the same movies, but at the same time you love JENNIFER'S BODY. You are the riddle wrapped in a mystery smoldered in an enigma followed by a goose chase down a rabbit's hole.

Do what you will but don't make people watch Resident Evil movies, please.

@Luke:

1) of the 12 or so people I know who have seen Jennifer's Body, you're the only one I know who doesn't love it.

2) I like the first RE movie. I haven't watched sequels yet.

3) The acknowledgement that many video game movies are less than stellar is part of the fun in joining up with the club.

4) BTW, I forgot to mention that Noiseredux's Movie Night Club has a "No Lukes Policy"

5) I know we already let a guy named Luke in before you, but the rule is "Lukes" - plural. We're allowed to have one.
