Interesting! Let us know how it goes.

i am hoping at the very least that the issue is limited to the CD portion. if i can play carts on this beast, i will be satiated for the time being.

You need to get it repaired so you can use it as a portable CD player.

Such a rare and hard to fix item, I wouldnt want to wear it out using it as a cd player

Nice. I have been buying A LOT of "broken" systems off eBay recently with the intention of honing my repair skills. At least half just needed a deep cleaning and work. Let us know if you can get it working, yeah?

@CRTGAMER- Great pick ups. $30 is a decent price for a confirmed working Xbox. I love the original Xbox and don't think it gets enough love from the gaming community but that's better for me because it's cheap to collect for right now.
"Oh great, another box of useless sh*t."

Main Collection: http://connect.collectorz.com/users/ynjmwil/games?viewCollection=in-collection - Not looking to move anything on this list but would entertain offers.

will do. i figured it was worth a shot, and at least it has the official power adapter to go with it, which is pretty hard to find by itself at a decent price.

Picked up an interesting Demo for an old Origin/EA game for $1. It was mixed in with the CDs but had a $3 sticker on it :P. Manager dropped it to $1 for me since I'm in there everyday :). Love the artwork :).

Also picked up Lunar Dragon Song. Just finished Lunar Silver Star Harmony on the PSP and figured this was worth a shot. Almost missed it though due to the label which doesn't really stand out :P. Kills me that Ubsioft just used their logo for the cart label of so many DS games :P.
