Should These PS2 Games Be Considered "Hidden Gems"

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Red Star is awesome end of story. Also Indigo Prophecy could be considered hidden and awesome as well.

The real question is which to consider? The censored US version is Indigo Prophecy, though the uncensored(Indigo Prophecy: Director's Cut...has an AO rating for sexuality) is the same as the version released everywhere else, called Fahrenheit.

id cut REZ it was on dreamcast....but just my opinion id also mention the Shin Megami tensei series digital devil saga 1 and 2 and lucifers call also known as nocturne

gregory horror show is another personal favorite of mine thats a brilliantly underappreaciated game by capcom

Emphemeral Phantasia (not sure how to spell it) is another highly underated RPG i love only because of the graphics

ill try to think of some more

Fahrenheit was an interesting experiment but I thought it became too crazy towards the end. It was fresh and certainly worth experiencing but it didn't make a lasting impression with me the way other adventure games did. I don't think the developers will deliver much in term of in-game freedom and random consequences with their planned PS3 game either. You might want to check out The Experiment which has unique gameplay (albeit poorly written dialogue and awful voice acting).

Is the censored version that much different than the uncensored version? I say that because the Hot Coffee edition of San Andreas much better than the censored version.

Additional sex scene that was optional, a few minor bits of nudity or "sexual content." Nothing major, content-wise.

Also, Okami was rereleased as a Greatest Hits so how "hidden" was it really?

I've got all the others you've mentioned covered.

I would suggest add Mark of Kri, I do remember that game having some buzz when it first came out, but after awhile the game was pretty much forgotten. Also add, Fire Pro Wrestling Returns, it is truly the first Fire Pro game that made it outside of Japan, sadly not everyone has herd of the game, because most American gamers would rather play that awful TNA and WWE games, Add that too.
