3DO Problem - Audio Skipping

3DO Problem - Audio Skipping
Hey all, after playing a game (any game) on my FZ-1 3DO for a certain amount of time (always less than an hour), the in-game audio starts to skip. I have tried cleaning the laser and my discs, to no avail. Does anyone know what the problem might be?

Maybe the system is getting warm? It could need a dusting to clean out the insides or clear vents.

Do you have another av cable to try, check those connections too.

This is due to a laser read error obviously. Okay so either the disc you're using is bad, the laser or disc are dirty, or the laser is going bad. So I need some more info from you. Are you playing a legit 3DO game or a burn? Is is this happening on all games? How did you clean the laser lens?
