Re: Video Pinball
I just tested out the new portrait mode patch in Pinball Arcade. Holy crap!
Definitely check it out if you have a rotatable monitor.

Re: Video Pinball
I played the free table for a bit and I gotta say, it did not pull me in. The integration of highscores, which currently seems limited, is pretty horrid.
I might stick to Pinball FX2 for now and give it a go again after it has been updated.

Re: Video Pinball
Top ones I'm playing right now (or that I've played recently)
1) Pinball Arcade (every system they can get their grubby hands on) - Farsight in my mind has done the best job of simulating pinball physics out there, and the Williams table (have kind of a built-in Williams / Bally bias from friends) sets are great.
2) Future Arcade - I was able to find a remake of Joker Poker which I had as a kid, and it's fun to play again. Physics are very loose though, so it's good for the old school remakes, but not new stuff.
3) The Real Thing! A local establishment (16-Bit Bar & Arcade) has T2, Road Show, F-14 Tomcat, and Twilight Zone. So yes, it's cheating to mention a real machine, but dangit, they're available and fun!
BTW, did anyone own this pinball goodie?

Re: Video Pinball
I've never seen that one. I used to own an Entex Raise the Devil handheld pinball. And I was really big into Thunderball on the Odyssey 2.sav2880 wrote: BTW, did anyone own this pinball goodie?
