the coupon printer blocks the use of that, i think. it just spits it out your default printer, which would be easy enough (just set PDF as your default), but if you're expecting a prompt and don't get it, scan to PDF is the next best option.fastbilly1 wrote:PDF printeraaron wrote:scan to pdf, bro.samsonlonghair wrote:Because of the way the couponprinter.exe application works, it would be very hard to pm anybody a coupon. I scanned the coupon in, cropped out the extra crap, and was able to fit 4 perfect copies on a single sheet of paper.

Well I tried again today. The coupon works as advertised (thanks frag) but the damn cashier was standing over my shoulder the whole time. As soon as I pulled out my 2nd coupon she started blabbing about it wouldn't work and pretty much wouldn't let me even try. I've given up on this. Although, I did return the toys and $12 back on my debt card.

Re: Extreme Couponing.........Gamer Edition!
So I went into Wal-Mart last night and used the coupons to benefit someone else.
My woman and I picked a kid off of the Salvation Army's Angel Tree. A two-year-old little boy named Noah asked for coloring books, crayons, and Mickey Mouse. Well, Noah is going to have a Merry Christmas! He's going to be loaded down with Fisher Price Mickey Mouse Toys, including a few that cost more than the ten dollar coupon. Who could resist this little boat? It reminds me of Steamboat Willy.

Noah is getting the big damn box of crayolas (the one with the built-in sharpener).

Noah is getting a truckload of giant coloring books, including Spider-man, Puppy Dogs, WWE, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

That is awesome! My wife and I haven't gotten around to getting an Angel Tree Kid yet. The last time I did, I went really overboard. This was before I had kids of my own. I saw a kid that wanted Star Wars, Mario, Transformers and Ninja Turtles. Basically this kid was awesome. So, he got a whole buggy full of awesome toys. I wanted to buy him a bike as well but my wife talked some sense into me.
As a kid that grew up some-what poor, I didn't get a lot of toys through out the year. But, my parents always managed to give us tons of nice stuff for Christmas. That and birthdays were really the only times we got new stuff. So, it always breaks my heart to know that there are kids that may not have a good Christmas. Honestly, if I were wealthy, there wouldn't be a single Angel Tree Kid for anyone else in town, I would grab them all.
This year, my daughter is 3.5. So, she is old enough to start helping us pick out toys for the kids too. I want my kids to understand that there are people far less fortunate that us in the world, and that we need to help out when we can. I guess, I want to instill that sort of compassion in them now and hopefully have it stay with them their whole lives.

Re: Extreme Couponing.........Gamer Edition!
Went in today thinking to get some toys for my nephew (who's about to be 1), and something for myself. Well, with the coupons (thanks, guys), I found $7 toys only, but all for ages 3-8
So I got him something else with the credit, and a gift for someone else. I have plans to donate the toys as I don't know who'd use them, but it saved me a bit for others, so I'm happy. Thanks, again, coupon sharers for sharing the wealth.
