Man oh man.... Microsoft should have stuck with calling it the Xbox720. DAMMIT!!!

This was THE game I was looking forward to for the next gen. (I originally bought my 360 for Dead Rising - I'm a huge zombie fan/nerd)

Its not like its the next secret Microsoft is working on, the product will be released in a week or so.
The Xbox Live infrastructure for the One is still being finalized for the global launch date. It would be even more negative publicity if he were to stumble across a bug in the code prior to getting the Day One update. It makes sense to temp ban him until everything is finalized.

As others said, it isn't his fault for being an excited consumer. Although, from what I recall from the Halo 3 launch date (got my game early back then), the offending store gets an assload of fines if they are found to have sold the game early, more than likely the store will sack the employee that jumped the gun with the sale.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

They don't get fines. They can just piss off the publisher who may not send them stuff in the future. Or I guess they could be sued. There could be a contract clause about street dates and violating that can result in a breach of contract and some sort of agreed to monetary compensation.

Crimson Dragon
Killer Instinct
Need for Speed Rivals
probably Madden or NBA2K 14...

I have a fair amount of XBLA credit, so will likely buy all digitally. I figure that the sports and racing games will depreciate quickly anyway and be plentiful later if I want the disc, so may as well use up some of that credit!
I think it's interesting that I feel like we have pretty similar taste in games, yet that list is nothing like what I would get. Must not be as similar as I thought. :)
Did you cross reference it with my PS4 list?
KI: Well I'm not as into fighters as you, so I'd download KI with Jago, but that's probably it, unless I really dug it. I had fun with it back in the day, so I could see nostalgia interesting me.
Madden or NBA: I've been getting into football more now with the Seahawks being 9-1 (fairweather fan I know) and have thought about getting a football game, but I think this version will be lesser since it is a cross-generation game, I'll probably wait for the next one. I don't like basketball that much so no interest there.
Crimson Dragon: I've got interest, but I need to see a review.
NFS: Seems like a renter, not that I rent games any more.

PS4: I think you were interested in CoD, but not BF4. I think that's probably cause you're more interested in the single player, where I'm interested in the multi. AC4, I don't quite want to play that out of order yet and I'm still working through Brotherhood. Killzone looks awesome though!

That reminds of a interview that the Two Best Friends Play guys did where Pat rage's about how the infinite power of the cloud MS keeps saying is bullshit. It's so funny how much he rages about it.

This is generally for breaking the embargo on unboxings and reviews.

I remember reading on a Max Payne 3 collector edition shipping box that there's a law against giving the game out earlier than the posted date. I'm guessing you'd most likely end up with a slap on the wrist unless it's a habitual thing.

Its upsetting to see next gen. consoles that will last the next 6 or so years having difficulties with 1080p , very unfuture proof . Not that 720p looks bad, but still... 2006 consoles could do 1080p.

They are pushing a lot more intense engines than those from last gen - I am sure they could run any 360/PS3-level code at 1080p easily.

I'd be that both will be seeing the majority of their games in 1080p by the first round of post-launch games, once devs have gotten a bit better at working with and optimizing the new architectures

Any one supporting XboxOne this generation? I know a lot of you here would play any game they like on any console, including me, but I was wondering if someone is on the XBO bandwagon.

I am on the PS4 bandwagon this generation, but depends on the games released on the XBO I can easily switch although I really see that this generation will have the least amount of exclusives since the consoles and the PC all share the same intel CPU architecture .

Any one know if Dead Rising 3 is a limited exclusive release or is it exclusive for XBO only?
