I'd rather have that wooden CMVS than a cabinet. Owning arcade games doesn't appeal to me much, perhaps because I'm finally acknowledging the lack of remaining space in this house.
When I was growing up we had a Gauntlet cab in my parents' house though - which was awesome. For reasons I can't remember it technically "belonged" to my brother - who sold it for $100.
Back to the topic of space, I've run out of shelf space in my game room. Gonna have to start putting stuff in boxes or something. Ugh.

Built/mount custom shelving?
Space gets pretty much infinite once you start doing that.

I think it'll be interesting to compare to Lost Odyssey, since if I remember right FFX's plot had a lot to do with death (Hironobu Sakaguchi's favorite I guess).
X is top three for me. My favorites are IV, VI, and X.
I traded my 360 towards my PS4 because it was about to die and figured I would trade it and rebuy a 360 once the price drops to bargain bin prices (probably in a few years). Once that happens I will revisit Lost Odyssey. That game was fantastic, although I never finished it. I will also have to give Blue Dragon another go.
^ It was a great game in it's day. But I went back to try and play it not too long ago, and compared to the modern Spider-Man games, it's a real pain in the butt to play. The fluid controls in the modern Spider-Man games that feel so great, aren't so fluid in the original.
^^^^ I haven't played it yet. Hoping to tonight after work. I can imagine the controls not being as responsive or as smooth as I thought they were when the game first came out, but I can still see myself playing it for hours!
I have finished my acquisitions for the first half of November. I pumped up my SNES golf game collection at a flea market in Virginia, and the Target B2G1 sale netted me Bioshock: Ultimate Rapture Edition, Devil May Cry HD Collection, and Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. I am really excited to play through all of these, and I also "splurged" on a used copy of Nier at a local GameStop. (Nier is another "must play" PS3 game for me.) Finally, I took advantage of Gamestop's current B2G1 sale by picking up Jambo! Safari (a relatively obscure Sega NAOMI port), Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars (a well-reviewed Wii 3D platforming game), and Prince of Persia: Rival Swords (an upgraded port of Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones). My best Wii deal, however, was the $8 copy of Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World that I acquired from a local pawn shop.
