I cut him slack for being one of the first.

Nearly everyone else out there who does that sort of thing feels like a blatant ripoff or at least like they owe him a bit.

I've seen some vids. Don't care for them. A lot of this "internet humor" stuff translates very, very poorly to video I find. I hate Cracked.com's videos.

He was doing videos from the beginning. He wasn't trying to "translate" anything over.

Hell the first couple of episodes weren't even actually made with an internet audience in mind, he just got popular with them.
