How did Kemco get the Batman license?! Seriously, who thought that was a good idea?!

(Batman: The Brave and the Bold (Wii) is actually really fun! It is developed by Wayforward, and if you have even a little bit of nostalgia for the "wacky" Batman of the 1960s and 1970s, then you will probably enjoy it. Moreover, the combat is at least as deep as the combat in the Arkham games.)

I'm not exaggerating when I say I think Batman Dark Tomorrow is one of the worst games ever made.

Back on topic, I beat Fall of the Footclan again on the Gameboy. I played it on my SP and it occurred to me I haven't played it on the Super Gameboy or Gameboy Player.

It would be a good idea. Get that sweet stereo sound too. For an early title, that was one good GB game.

I never played the N64 version. But I had the GBC version when it was new. And I enjoyed that one.

It was a 2D action-platformer that let you use a bunch of Batman Beyond's tech and gadgets. Good game, I thought (by GBC standards). But then, I never was a big handheld gamer back then, so GBC was basically my first handheld. So I could have been wowed by the newness of it all.

Oh come now, that wasn't a game. It was a watch with an alarm.

I've played through Serious Sam 2 a few times. It's good, but I think The Second Encounter is the best game in the franchise. TFE and TSE in general are better than 2 and 3 imo. I didn't beat 3, I played about half of it and didn't really care for it. It was still better than your average fodder though.

I want that watch sooooooo badly. I need to bring back the "more than one plastic watch thing" during the weekends.

Well...I guess you will just have to play this to get your Batman fix:

You know what? That's only 15 bucks on Amazon. I'm ordering it right now. That's cheap.

And for what it's worth, I don't think Origins is a terrible game despite my ranting on it. It's just that for anyone who has already played Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, there's no real reason to play Origins as it's mostly feeding you the same stuff, but not quite as well executed or inspired or polished. And most of the few things they tried to add to the formula tend to work against it rather than for it (like the grading system, Dark Knight challenges, martial arts enemies, etc.)

I probably would have been more impressed by this game had I not played Asylum and City before it
