There are times when I'm just in a mood to kill zombies.
Thank god for House of the Dead.
Does anyone play games based on moods?

Re: Does anyone play games based on moods?
My gaming life revolves around mood gaming. This doesn't mean that I'm angry or sad or whatever.
Do I want an adrenaline rush in my gaming session? Or am I looking for a vast fictional world which I can dump dozens of hours into?

Same as Frerix here. I also add that sometimes i'm in a mood for sci-fi, modern-day setting, medieval fantasy etc.
And weirdly, sometimes i get hung-up on wanting to play a game that has a deep 'system' to understand, such as the controls in Alien Soldier, or a fighting game, then in others i just want to grind in a JRPG.
