I can stop you right there because uh yeah, I said that.
AppleQueso wrote: What... the only full remake was RE1. RE2 and 3 were ports, and aren't even arguably the definitive ports (especially RE2). Code Veronica was originally on Dreamcast.
You claimed that 2 and 3 were remakes as well, when they absolutely are not.

No shit REmake is a bigger upgrade than WWHD. Who said otherwise?

I have a hard time believing people out there still play hand-helds . I almost never saw a DS any where, except a 3DS when a friend of mine purchased it and brought it over to show it to us, and I have seen few PSP's maybe around 2006 or something. Maybe its the region I live in or something.
It is the region. The DS was pretty much a fashion statement in Japan, Mario Kart DS sold over 23 million copies worldwide and was on the top 30 of sales in Japan for several years. The console itself sold over 153 million, second only to the PS2 in historic sales (almost as many as PS3 and 360 combined as of October of this year).

As someone with a 3DS, I can say for certain there are a reasonable number of 3DS owners out there because I keep getting streetpasses from them.

@BogusMeatFactory

Not sure why you are so upset, I shared that comment just to say that there are many people who are upset with the WII and the direction Nintendo is taking. No one is stating facts, or forcing any one to change his opinion. Its just a shared opinion... unless that is not allowed int his forum...

@AppleQuesso

Seems like I did say 2&3 are remakes , I am sorry I must have been tired or something I got confused. I just want to be clear that I wouldn't consider Veronica a port along with 2/3 because I do not consider same generation games ports .. for example If GTA 5 was released a full year after the PS3 I won't call it a port. I would if it was released on the Xbox One though.

You are correct, same rules apply but

As someone who had the original Gameboy as his last handheld, how would you compare 3DS gaming to something like Android/iphones . I know a lot of people here frown upon the touch screen, which I do too, but after experiencing the games myself there are some awesome games and the touch controls work really well for many genres .

Do you feel there is a need/want for handheld gaming for th 17+ age group

3DS gaming is not much like handheld gaming. The games are generally much more fully fleshed out. There is a market for handheld games among the 17+ age group, and I feel it's probably growing rather than shrinking. There have been a fair number of 3DS games released with higher age rating than your average Game Boy game.

Touch controls are great, although much less used on the 3DS than the iPhone, and even the original DS, mainly as the touch screen is seperate to the main Widescreen display.

No worries, I'm not upset or anything. I just find it odd that you used internet user comments to back up your statements. That is just not conducive to discussion.

to clear the misunderstanding , I was stating its a shared opinion by many not backing my opinion with his which is a very bad argument/proof...
