Best Bluetooth PC Gamepad?

Post by lisalover1 »

I recently got a Windows tablet, and I've been loading it up with a lot of Steam games (the performance has actually been quite impressive so far), but a mouse and keyboard just doesn't cut it for more arcade-y games. Since the tablet's meant to be a more portable machine, and due to the fact that it only has one USB port, a wired controller is less than ideal. That one USB port also rules out using a Dualshock 3, since connecting one of those wirelessly requires two USB ports to be used at once. So, I need a good bluetooth game controller (no USB dongle-based controllers) for my PC games. Ideally, something more compact would be good, but I'm willing to look at anything.

I haven't tried them myself, but, Wii and Wii U controllers are also Bluetooth based and have drivers floating around to use.

Otherwise, most bluetooth controllers I've seen are more designed for Android/etc and are kinda lacking.

Anapan gave a thumbs up to the SteelSeries Free in this thread.
