As irritating as it is to hear some one ignorant like that about videogames, I made a habit of not laughing at it. Tech is really complex and confusing, and there are always new updates and different numbers like HTML, HTML5, XHTML,DHTML and synonyms like 720p , HD, 1080p, FULL HD.

I am sure we sound similar in other areas especially when it is doctor time "What does this medicine do? What does that medicine do? Can I take them together? Is Asprin different from Panadol?"

Proud of you buddy!
Haha. Well, I didn't wait for a Steam Machine. Already built a gaming PC. But basically the same. :)

My mom doesn't know how to turn on computers.

So yeah, tech is a scary thing.

Sony is giving $10 credit to the PSN and giving a free month of PS+ with each PS4. I think this is pretty exciting. I just hope that free month of PS+ will stack on what I've already paid for. Probably not though. Either way, I'm getting a $10 game for free.

Also, this next week will be one of the longest weeks of my life

That's a really good idea, the free $10 PSN credit. I would have bought more stuff on XBLA had I been introduced to the concept earlier than I was. The free month of PS+ is standard for paid online services though.

If you want to see the insides of a PS4, Sony's Yasuhiro Ootori takes one apart and points out each part, piece by piece.

glad to see I wasn't the only one, never preordered a xbox one. there wasn't anything that excited me enough to spend $400+. I'm gonna wait a year or two and wait for more games. now this gives me the time to play all the games I've bought.

I'm truly impressed. That's the most beautiful console design I've ever seen.

Do you think we will se a SLIM model of the ps4? its already slim enough, I think its smaller than the ps3 2nd slim model . Given how ps2 -> ps2 slim was a HUGE difference , I am surprised by this time ps3 still bulky that even its successor is smaller than it is even though it packs more capable hardware.

Maybe the final slim ps3 model is coming soon after ps4 is out? Maybe like PSone?
