I just bought and set up my console a few hours ago and everything was working fine. During the installation of Windwaker HD the console froze and wouldn't turn off, so i unplugged it.
The system itself seems to work fine but I think the power light shorted out. It's yellow in stand by mode and red when off but no blue light when on. Is there anything I can do except send a brand new console in for repairs?

Re: Wii U Issue
I say go exchange it before they run out of them.
was it an online purchase? Or physically bought in the store?
Just to be on the safe side, if you did buy it in the store; call other stores nearby to see if they have it in stock.
You can do a warranty plan with nintendo, but that may take longer.
be quick, or you may run out of these zelda consoles before the holidays.

I ordered online from gamestop, and I already downloaded a Link to the Past. Ugh what a pain.
