I saw that in an ad last weekend. Depending on what deals there are on black friday I might just say "f*&k it" and pick one up before then.Ziggy587 wrote:Also...

In my own self defence , I would like to remind everyone here that I was supporting the Wii when it first came out to beat ps3/360 (I was ps3 hater) I was just very upset by the game library . Also N64 is probably my favourite console, and I highly enjoy the GC games. I might also support the claim that SNES is the greatest console in videogame history. I am not a Nintendo hater, more like Wii haterAck wrote:He makes them whenever Nintendo is not involved.emwearz wrote:One day I will see a post when you are not mega cynical, I BELIEVE!RCBH928 wrote:Why is everyone so excited for Mario 3D world , it looks to me like every other Mario/Luigi/Wario 3D platformer.

.....really wanted the Zelda HD bundle, so I nabbed that 2 days before this came out. I'm gonna keep the Zelda bundle.... but dang it. (LOL, I'm a sucker for collections, so I bought the physical copy of Zelda too. Since I bought it anyway, I would have much rather had the NSMB bundle.)

Finished Wind Waker HD. Absolutely awesome. Easily the most visually pleasing game I have played since muramasa.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Every second I played of that game I felt like I was on a grand adventure. So beautiful. Big blue skies. Big blue ocean.Flake wrote:Finished Wind Waker HD. Absolutely awesome. Easily the most visually pleasing game I have played since muramasa.

Almost finished Pikmin 3. The game was an absolute joy to play, and a real return to form for me. The second game was solid, but just didn't match up to the first imo.
Re: Wii-U thoughts so far
Pikmin 3 is probably my favourite in the series yet. I haven't quite finished it yet though, so it's a bit early for me to call, but it's just a complete joy to play, as you said. I think it takes the best elements of the first 2 games (and got rid of those caves - yay!) and just made everything so much more fluid to play.
And Wind Waker HD is as amazing as the game has ever been. It's gorgeous and the graphics just do not age. The animation style is so brilliant and I just love Link's expressions! I mean, compare it to other HD upgrades of previous gen games, and this one looks as if it were a new game.

Definitely glad about this. Pikmin 2 completely changed the focus of the game to dealing with enemies rather than exploring, multitasking and solving puzzles. Some of the enmies were just totally unfair too (anything that exploded, anything that used electricity, and anything that shot you). All of those types of enemies now are either gone, or weakened (electricity no longer instant kills).
Wind Waker HD is a game I plan to get for Christmas or my birthday. I thought about picking it up before then, but Layton 6, Link Between Worlds and possibly Mario & Luigi 4 are calling before then, mainly because I haven't already played those before.
