Marvel vs Capcom is a good 4 player game most people overlook because most assume it is only 2 player.

Royal Rumble is terrible.

I've had Royal Rumble sitting in my collection for a while. But other than testing it, I really haven't actually played it. After being spoiled by the Smackdown series and WWE '13, I'm not sure if I could really go back and enjoy such an old 3D wrestling game.

I don't know... I haven't played it in like 11 or 12 years, but I seem to remember Royal Rumble being an absolute blast in multiplayer. It kind of helps if you go in thinking of it as an Arcade game and not a WWF/Wrestling game...

I loved Royal Rumble. The big arcade cabinet was perfect for 4 player games with 2 large screens, and the DC port is just as good, heck it even adds the additional "arenas" you only see in the arcade's demo mode.

Plus, it has the Hardys. Case closed.

What WWE game didn't have the Hardy boys at that time?

Man, I hated those guys.

I can see the hate, now. Jeff Hardy is a druggie that disappoints more than wows anymore, and Matt, well, if you know anything about wrestling you know he's basically the modern-day equivalent to Jake the Snake Roberts, sad and irrelevant but he has no clue.

But back then, in the Attitude Era, the Hardyz were easily one of the best tag-teams in the business. They gave us so many crazy-as-hell spots that just wowed and amazed. And they created and perfected the TLC match. Nobody can come close to touching the TLC matches the Hardyz participated in.

Is Matt Hardy that bad that you would compare him to Jake the Snake? I mean Jake had (still does to my knowledge) incredibly bad substance abuse problems. Last I checked Matt wasn't even as bad as Jeff, though I haven't followed wrestling over a year now.

I dont know if the Hardys being one of the best tag teams meant much, by the Attitude Era WWE stopped caring about tag wrestling.

A TLC match is just a ladder match and I've seen better ladder matches than the first 2 TLCs. The Dudleys were probably the best tag team in that 3 way feud.

That's what I meant. The pre 2002-2003 (?) versions, before their more not so impressive modern versions. I liked how all the special moves were easy to pull off unlike older wrestling games.

Watch some of Matt's drunk YouTube videos. Guy has to have a drinking problem. Probably not as bad as Jake, though. I was referring more to the fact that he loves to toot his own horn, even though he hasn't done anything great in years.

Maybe Royal Rumble is great n multiplayer but it is easily replaced by All Stars . I can't test it on the multiplayer experience simply because I do not have friends who are willing to play a Dreamcast game with archaic 3D models. Actually even if I did, I do not have 4 dreamcast controllers.
