Then it's not for you, but don't knock it. The SNES mini removed RGB and S-Video, the GCN removed the digital port (and not even in a revised 'slim' model), this is nothing new. When most people, even today, will refer to composite AV cables as "those red, yellow and white plugs," then this makes perfect sense. If GCN, internet capabilities and component output are important things to you, then you can get a used Wii for like $50. For 90% of the people out there, the ones that wouldn't even notice the difference between composite and component let alone know what the difference is, a $100 Wii mini with a pack in game might sound like a good deal. It's a cheap alternative for two siblings that fight over who's turn it is on the one Wii they own. It might be the only option for the kid of a low income family that couldn't afford a more expensive console. And it wouldn't matter anyway if the kid is too young to even care about the GCN or online gaming.
If you know enough not to like the Wii Mini for it's "missing" features, then you know enough not to get one. If you're naive to the missing features, then you wont know what you're missing in the first place and it wont matter.
