need help deciding

so i am getting money soon although not much unfortuently. my delemia is that im not sure what i should get. i found a gamecube for 30 and i miss the gamecube dearly and regreat giving it up when i did. also i really wanted crono cross for the ps1 and on amazon its about $13 or so (i havent checked in awile). i could also get persona 2 on amazon due to the limited reprint. i have also a eye for persona 4. or my final solution use it on a bunch of games (one of which includes siren for the ps2). i can only really afford one and i wanted to see what you guys think i should do.

Hold out on getting a GameCube and just eventually get a Wii (not that there isn't a ton of good GameCube games.. but buying the system, I think in the end better to just be patient until you have the money for the Wii)

Persona 2 is also sold out on Amazon. It was a very limited run.

Chrono Cross will make you very happy as long as you aren't looking for a Trigger sequel. So many ignorant, nostalgic fanboys bash Cross for no reason.

Actually their reason for bashing was that it wasn't like Chrono Trigger, so yeah I shouldn't have said that. Having a fucking stupid reason is not the same as having no reason.

I'm going to sit on the fence with the whole Cross/Trigger debate.

Just enjoy the new Wii. Try out the innovation.

I understand the feelings people have about Chrono Cross. It's great on its own merits, but it's not like the original at all. The story at least ties into it well though

Usually when you have a highly devoted fanbase, doing anything remotely different with the game's sequel gets poop thrown at it. There would be just as much complaints if it came across as Chrono Trigger 1.5.
