Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
I'm kind of stumped how people praise the Saturn and Dreamcast consoles, forgetting how they were huge failures to SEGA and (maybe?) having the opposite attitude with N64.
Also, not hating furry characters in video games.

N64/NES/FC/SNES/SFC/GB (SGB)/GBC (Black)(SGB)/FDS/Satellaview/Genesis/Mega Drive/Master System & maybe N64DD/GBC/GBA.

People praise them because they have incredibly interesting libraries not because they were commercial successes.
Many will argue that the N64 has very few interesting games compared to either, myself included.

N64 hate is puzzling.
What makes me lol is how so many people cite the Saturn's imports as one reason it's a great system (and I would agree) but simultaneously ignore the amazing N64 import library.

Personally, I have nothing against the games themselves, mostly. It's more the glaring lack of certain genres, and even more so for me the controller. I hate the N64 controller.BoneSnapDeez wrote:N64 hate is puzzling.

I have to admit that I wasn't aware of the N64 import library, I've never seen anyone cover it or mention any import titles

Nope, it's only on N64 in NSTC-J and on the Virtual Console.General_Norris wrote:Wasn't it released for Dreamcast too or am I thinking of Bangai-O?BoringSupreez wrote:You haven't heard of Sin and Punishment?

Re: Do You Have Any Unpopular Gaming Opinions?
That is kind of a point to not hate a console because of whether they were the most successful or not, I see your point there, even though they were both evident in SEGA going out of the console buisness, but yeah. Point made.
But the imports for N64 are a good case too.
